tHe CoNStAnT Releases new CD
Not too many bands can boast that it has members that have served in the United States Marine Corp, the Red Army, have attended some of the U.S.’s finest universities, worked as a charity worker and fundraiser for Amnesty International and Greenpeace and have played with many of music’s most familiar names. But the CoNStAnt can! This hard rock band has played Gorky Park in Moscow. They are also a charitable bunch, having supported numberous charities and also released the single “On Christmas Day” with all profits going to the Research and Treatment of Autism.
The CoNStAnt’s website portrays a very accurate description of their music and the band members who came together to produce its sound. “Music at its best can move, unite, and inspire. It can tear down walls and build unbreakable bonds. That is the idea that forged tHe CoNStAnT; a Los Angeles based Hard Rock Band whose members came together from different worlds to create music as intense and powerful as it is intimate and timeless.”
The Music Connection describes tHe CoNStAnT as “a unique amalgam of classic, prog, glam and metal — every inch of which rocks”. tHe CoNStAnT’s lead vocalist David Reed Watson, guitarist Frank Yanno, bassist Brian Rutkin, and drummer Oleg Shlyahov- all of whom come from wildly varying backgrounds. “But what unites us” Frank says “is a shared passion for music and songwriting and a love for musicianship and its execution.”
tHe CoNStAnt has just released a new CD which is available on CD Baby, iTunes and Amazon. It will also be available in select stores in Southern California.
